The car was imported from Italy last year. It is a limited edition XJ40 Gold, representing the final production of this model. Everything indicates that only 277 units were produced with this engine specification. This model incorporates solutions known from the X300 model, including rear suspension and improved vehicle electronics. The Italian climate prevented even the slightest trace of rust. The floor is perfectly healthy, as are the fenders, sills, and pillars. Thermal shields, catalytic converters, clips, caps, spare wheel lock keys, fuse pliers, and even the smallest equipment elements are all present in this car, making its condition complete. The car has a relatively low mileage of 128,000 km and comes with full documentation, including the service book, vehicle manual, owner's handbook, European assistance card, security system instructions, audio system instructions, air conditioning panel operating instructions, international service contacts book, and a complete set of keys.
The interior is in excellent condition – the leather is perfectly preserved, the headliner is intact as it should be, and the wood trim is in good condition.
The SLS (Self-Leveling Suspension) system in the car is original and fully functional. The rear suspension has been disassembled, with bushings and shock absorber mounts replaced, the system bled, and everything is operating as it should (the system performs a test each time the engine is started). As for consumables, filters, engine oil, suspension components, and the engine have been sealed, the air conditioning has undergone a full service with O-ring replacement (cooling very effectively), and the rear differential oil has been changed, along with various minor items like spark plugs and bulbs. I will soon be changing the gearbox oil. The front and rear brake discs and pads are in very good condition (wear level around 20-25%). We have documentation for all repairs carried out.
The car is fully functional. The engine runs perfectly, quietly, smoothly, without any smoking or hesitation. The gearbox shifts very nicely, and all electrical components are operational – including the automatic antenna and electrically adjustable lumbar support. The audio system has been modified using high-end components (JL Audio, Audison), neatly integrated into factory locations. Both pairs of doors (front and rear) have been additionally soundproofed.
Everything is quiet – traveling in this car is pure pleasure. The suspension absorbs bumps well, the car feels solid and handles very nicely. The wheel hubs have no play, the bearings operate quietly, and the shock absorbers are in very good condition. The lamps, exhaust system, and interior are all original. There have been no modifications, tuning, or alterations of any kind. The onboard computer is fully functional and does not display any errors.
The car is being sold with XJR model wheels fitted with Fulda tires in very good condition.
The car arrived in Poland completely accident-free, but in the fall, a minor incident occurred which resulted in damage to the front bumper, its trim, the right fender, and partially the hood. However, the front end was not affected, and the headlights, radiator, and other components are original and factory-fitted. The repair was limited to replacing the fender and bumper, while the engine compartment cover was repairable and retained. The damage was minor and posed no significant risk. We have comprehensive photographic documentation of the car, including photos from its importation to Poland and immediately after the incident. The paintwork has been refreshed, and there is no filler on the car except for the edges of the engine compartment cover. The car has been assessed by a PZMot expert as meeting the conditions for registration as a historic vehicle (over 95% originality).
