The Audi 100 Coupe offered by our company is an interesting example of preserved Polish history. According to documents, the car arrived in Poland in 1987, before the fall of the Iron Curtain. It had four owners in Poland, with the last one using the car on the streets of Warsaw. Later, the vehicle was purchased by a classic car collector from Silesia. At that time, the car already required restoration work, which it underwent, including a new paint job. Subsequently, the car became part of a collection, regularly started and moved but not driven on roads. After a few years, the car came to our company for servicing and sale. We performed a thorough mechanical service, which included:
-Oil and filter change
-Ignition system adjustment
-Carburetor adjustment
-Fuel system cleaning
-Brake system inspection
-Spot repair of the trunk floor panel
-Anti-corrosion treatment
Details of the technical condition are presented in the points below:
Bodywork:
The car underwent repairs to the trunk floor panel and has been protected against corrosion on the underside. Currently, it does not require any further bodywork repairs.
Paint:
The paintwork applied several years ago remains in excellent condition and does not raise any concerns or require any additional work. The quality of the paint coating is satisfactory and does not need any touch-ups or refinishing at this time.
Engine and gearbox:
The engine starts up smoothly and revs without any issues due to the adjustments made. It shows no signs of wear. The gearbox is also functioning well.
Suspension and brakes:
The suspension and brakes work as intended and do not currently require any further service work.
Interior:
All interior trimmings are complete, and the controls and mechanisms have been checked and are fully functional. New carpets have been installed throughout the interior.
As of today, the car is in a condition that allows for the start of the classic car season. The Audi 100 Coupe S is currently one of the better investments, having experienced significant value growth recently, with more potential to come. Additionally, the car is still registered with Polish black plates, emphasizing its historical significance.
